Why there is no consent banner

Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (the ePrivacy Directive), transposed in Romania by Law no. 506/2004, requires consent before storing information on, or gaining access to information already stored in, a visitor’s device. Because this site stores nothing on your device and reads nothing from it, that consent requirement is not engaged and a consent banner would have nothing to ask you about.

What that means in practice

• No session cookies, no persistent cookies, no localStorage or sessionStorage used to identify you.
• No analytics platform, heatmapping, session recording or A/B testing tool.
• No social media buttons, embedded players or advertising networks that would load third-party code.
• Fonts are served from our own infrastructure rather than a content delivery network, so no font provider receives your IP address.

Your theme preference

If you switch between the light and dark presentation of this site, that preference is remembered in your browser so the page does not flash on your next visit. It is a technical display setting, it contains no identifier, it is never transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser’s site data controls.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical request logs, which are not cookies and are not used to profile you. These are described in our privacy policy.
